Virtual CheckPay™

Virtual CheckPay enables merchants to accept check information from their customers and securely process it electronically through our secure, web-based virtual terminal. Funds are cleared through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) Network by directly debiting the customer's bank account.

Virtual CheckPay is an IP (Internet Protocol)-based virtual terminal and is ideal for merchants that want to provide their customers with several payment options by accepting checks from those that may not have credit cards. A large number of consumers do not have credit cards and rely on checks as their primary means of payment.

Merchants benefit from lower transaction costs by accepting check information by phone or mail and processing it electronically. Virtual CheckPay eliminates waiting for checks to arrive by mail and trips to the bank to deposit funds.

Virtual CheckPay is one of three payment types available through our virtual terminal. The other payment types are:

• VirtualPay (card-not-present credit card processing for mail or phone orders)
• VirtualPay POS (Point-of-Sale card-present credit card processing)
