- What is a Merchant Account?
A merchant account allows you to accept credit cards for payment
from your customers and establishes your business as a credit card acceptor
with card associations.
- When are the funds credited to my bank
account?
Funds will be directly deposited into your bank account within 2-3 business
days.
- Is the full amount of the transaction
deposited to my bank account?
Yes, the full amount will be credited. Any fees are automatically debited
at the end of each month.
- Do I need to open another bank account?
No. You can use your existing North American checking account.
- Can I accept American Express, Discover,
and JCB?
Yes. The application will allow you to select the credit cards you would
like to accept, in addition to Visa and MasterCard. American Express,
Discover, and JCB set their own rates and fees and are not included
in the program pricing plans.
- Can I add the Visa and MasterCard logos
to my web site to let my customers know that I accept credit cards for
payment?
Yes, you can download the Visa and MasterCard logos at the following
links:

MasterCard logo:
www.mastercardbrandcenter.com/mcbrand/index.jsp.
If you do not have your own website, contact your advertiser about having
the Visa and MasterCard logos added to your listing.
- Why do I need to provide personal information
on the merchant account application?
A merchant account is a relationship and a trust you have with a bank
that has agreed to allow you to charge your customer's credit card.
The bank deposits the funds into your account and must therefore perform
due diligence to ensure that merchants are credible businesses.
- Can I sign up even if my business is
not incorporated?
Yes, if you have a social security or social insurance number, North
American checking account and a North American mailing address you can
sign up for the program.
- How long does it take to sign up?
After you complete the
application,
the process should take 4- 5 business days.
- What if I decide to cancel my merchant
account?
You can cancel your merchant account without penalty at any time with
thirty days written notice. Contact us at 1.866.663.6415 for details.
- What is a Chargeback?
A chargeback is the reversal of a disputed sale transaction.
When a chargeback occurs the amount of the chargeback is debited from

- Can I apply if I do not live in North
America?
In order to apply for a merchant account you must have a social security
or social insurance number, a North American bank account and a North
American mailing address.
